A few pictures of my super silly monkey, I mean, son. Nathanael is a real cut up. When he's not aggravating his sister, of course!

Pucker up!!!!!

He thinks he's cool in Dad's hat.

Is it March already? It seems like just a few days since Christmas! My parents always told me not to wish my life away when I was a kid, that time would go by faster the older I got. Did I believe them? Of course not! Now I know they knew exactly what they were talking about! The years just seem to fly by!

It's finally a sunny day, although it's still ridiculously cold. The 1-3 inches of snow we were supposed to get Tuesday night turned out to be just a few flakes mixed in with a bunch of rain. A few miles from us got about 4 inches! We were kinda disappointed at first, but then I was glad we would not have the mess to deal with. School was delayed a couple of hours yesterday, though.: ) So all was not lost!

We are planning a church trip to Florida March 16-20. We have about 19 people going. I have been busy yesterday and today making hotel reservations and the like. We plan to go to the Everglades on Wednesday, tour the tiny town where Andrew grew up on Thursday, and then go to Campmeeting at Dundee on Thursday night, Friday and Friday night. We'll come home on Saturday.

So many things coming up and happening. Sometimes it's a struggle to take the time out for God that is so very necessary! But He is faithful and so very, very patient!

Happy 7th Birthday, Abby!!

Yesterday was Abigail's 7th birthday! Where have the years gone? It seems like such a short time ago that we were bringing her home from the hospital. She was born Wednesday, February 28, at around 10:30 a.m. She was such a sweet baby. She made my debut into motherhood an easy transition. She slept through the night at about 4 weeks, gave up her bottle at about 9 months, never would take a pacifier, loved to sleep on Daddy's chest. I rocked her to sleep for every nap and every night till she was well over 1 year old. Oh, the sweet memories writing this brings back! Abby is still a sweetie pie. She is a people pleaser, who is not completely happy if you are not happy. She is truly a gift from God and I am so thankful for the precious little lady she is becoming.

Abby's birthday cake. Ms. Homemade Goodness was out of town, so Walmart made the cake. It was surprisingly good. Just not as good as Ivey's!!!

Baby doll clothes Grandma made for her dolls.

Hello Kitty radio, cd & cassette player from mama & daddy

Papa & Grandma Tyndall playing a Connect 4 game that was from Granny & Aunt Barbara Jean.

Grandparents were the guests for the birthday celebration. The menu was hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, potato salad, pink lemonade, cake & birthday cake ice cream. All Abby's idea, by the way. Everyone had fun celebrating one of the sweetest little girls in the world!

The Son Shines

What a week! What a great revival! Bro. Cordle has really preached good this week. We were so blessed to have him and his sweet wife and daughter at our church this week. (Wow! Isn't Rachel so talented?!) I think the last two nights messages were the best, although they were all good.
Thursday night the message was about "Obtaining the Promises". Every promise in God's Word is just as true now as it was then. Not only can we count on the promises in His Word, we can count on the promises He makes to us personally.
Friday night was about "God's Word". Not only is it that God spoke, God is still speaking. God's Word is alive, so it is very much present tense! Take God at His word!!!!

Friday night after church alot of us went to Denny's. We had great food and fellowship. (The zesty nachos are great, by the way!) Here are a few pictures I took at Denny's.

Home Sweet Home

My, how good it is to be back home! Andrew preached a revival in South Georgia last week for Bro. Jamie Ellington at Saint Paul Holiness Church in Jacksonville, GA. We met some very sweet people!! We really had a good time and some good services. Nathanael enjoyed playing with Bro. Jamie's boys.

Connor is 5 & Carson is 7. Cute kids.

It started snowing Friday night around 5:00. They said it was the first snow they've had in 37 years!!! It was beautiful! Because they never get snow, they don't salt the roads and they don't have snow plows. We left after church Friday night to come home. The roads to the interstate were mostly covered with snow. It took us 2 hours to go 50 miles. I was so nervous!!!! The interstate was pretty good, except the bridges and just a few spots. We had to go 45-55 mph, and about 30-35 mph on the bridges. We slid a couple of times. We were pulling a camper so that made everything worse. Thank God we made it safely home around 5:30 a.m. Saturday morning!

When we got home we had about 5 inches of snow on the ground. Abby & Nathanael played in it Saturday. They were so excited.

About to throw snowballs at each other.

Paking a snowball.

The snow melted quick. By Saturday afternoon it was all gone except in the shady areas. Oh well. It was pretty while it lasted.

This week we are in revival at our church with Bro. John Cordle. It started yesterday morning. What great messaged we have heard already! I'm looking for the Lord to do great things for us this week!

ICE!!!

It has been cold this weekend! We got sleet and freezing rain Friday night & Saturday. It covered everything!!! The trees were so pretty. They looked like they were loaded with diamonds. Abby & Nathanael thought you could play in the ice the same as you can snow. Not quite!

School was delayed 2 hours this morning so I didn't have to set my alarm clock. I still woke up at the usual time, though. That's one thing about being a teenager I miss. If the alarm clock wasn't set, I could sleep, sleep, sleep!! Not anymore, hardly. Oh, well.

Hope everyone has a very blessed day!!!
